Decapitation

Hey, there. I was just surfing some Ft Wayne LJs, came across yours. Hope you don't mind me leaving a comment! Feel free to reciprocate anytime. :) I'm actually moving up back up to Ft Wayne at the end of this month, so I thought it would be fun to see what people in the area are writing.

I'm a gamer. What kind of gamer? Roleplaying games, board games, card games (normal and collectable), computer games, console games (small amount), you name it...
Very cool! I like games as well, I host a get-together at my place about once a month to bring people together and have some fun. I probably have 14 or 15 games that I have bought over the past couple years!

I'm a voracious reader, primarily of SF&F, but I also enjoy well written, interesting books of most subjects, particularly historical ones.
Excellent! I'm a big Tolkien fan, and I like The Dragonlance Chronicles. Have you read the What If? series? That's a fun examination of history, you should check it out! :)

I grew up in Michigan, and was in the first graduating class of women at Rose Hulman Institute of Technology.
Hey, I know a few people down there! I went down there for a few fencing tournaments, that's a nice campus. Sorry to hear about the problems with the president, I am sure you weren't loving that situation as an alumnus. Oh, well. Hopefully, things will go in a more positive direction from now on.

Take it easy, have a good weekend!

Re: Decapitation

Happy to see someone interesting moving into Fort Wayne. ;)

Hmm, if you're a fencer, maybe you'd be interested in our reenactment group, the Adrian Empire, although I admit that some fencers have problems with attacking too linearly, I've heard. Others don't have that problem, of course. :)

I enjoyed the Chronicles when I first read them. Now I feel they're a little juvenile, but I still think the twins trilogy is quite good.

And thank goodness Midgeley is gone. He seemed to be quite a slimeball. Bleh.

Ha, ha! Thanks muchly. In the interests of getting to know new people, I was hoping you wouldn't mind if I added you to my flist. I would be honored if you would reciprocate, but do not feel obligated to do so! I try not to take that kind of thing personally. ;)

Sounds interesting! You'll have to fill me in a little more, maybe I'll get it out once I get up there permanently. :)
